Happy Fourth of July! This is about as patriotic as we were able to make the day look. We celebrated with hamburgers and fries that night at the Pegasus.

Kata knows full well what will happen if she is able to turn this faucet just a little bit...and she is trying really hard to make that happen.
We rely on our reserve water tanks and our generator (we have blackouts almost weekly.)
At this point we've got a pretty good herb garden. It helps add a little variety to the food here!
Our yard always looks like this during the week-- lots of laundry hanging out to dry, sandboxes and swings in the background.
That's our guard, Cheryl watching the man high in the palm tree. We pay him to come periodically and cut down coconuts-- we always have fresh coconut water in the fridge!
Our mango tree recently. Two of our three mango trees have been producing like crazy lately!
Yummm...mango bonanza for me, Patrick and Kata. Norah is still crazy enough to claim she doesn't like them.
This is Norah posing with a baby bird who fell out of his nest above our car. He is on the ground behind my right tire.
And here is baby in his new Easter basket nest where his mom continues to bring him worms!
Ballerinas! I teach Norah and eight other girls Ballet once a week.
We meet for class in Norah's school building, which is right down the street from our house.
