Old Friend

Remember the photos of those two babies lying on their bellies on the floor? They've learned to sit up, crawl, throw food, grab toys and walk nearly a year later. Sophia is moving to California in July, so I took a few pictures of them together today at the monastery gardens near our house.

To celebrate the holiday weekend, Norah decided to stand up, dust off her hands and walk. There's no stopping her now...She's practically packing for college. Sniff, sniff.

What's up? Just walking. Drinking. No big deal.

Ok. Bad news first: I gave Norah a haircut.

Good news: Norah is on the verge of something big!

We finally got the swing up in the back yard. Mercifully, the grass can't get her up there.

It's official, our girl is one year old. It's a bit cliche to say, but it really is unbelievable how quickly the year went by. Norah (and her parents) had a very, very fun weekend celebrating with a few friends and lots of family. Here are some photos from her birthday brunch today.
